The role Join our People & Culture team as a Payroll Specialist and play a key role in making sure our people are paid accurately, on time, and in full compliance with Bulgarian labour legislation. You'll own the payroll process end-to-end, manage employee administration, keep HR records up to date, and support employees with payroll and employment-related questions. What you'll do Own the monthly payroll process – ensure accurate payroll processing, timely salary payments, benefits administration, and compliance with Bulgarian legislation for employees on both standard and aggregated working hours (СИРВ). Manage employee administration throughout the employee lifecycle, including employment contracts, amendments, and terminations, utilizing electronic employee record systems (e-dossiers). Ensure compliance and reporting by preparing and submitting payroll declarations, statutory reports, and required documentation to the relevant authorities (NRA, NSSI, NSI, Labour Inspectorate) within legal deadlines. Support our people and improve processes by responding to payroll and employment-related queries, preparing reports and analyses, and identifying opportunities to make payroll and administrative processes more efficient. What you'll bring 2+ years of experience in payroll and employee administration, with solid knowledge of Bulgarian labour, tax, and social security legislation. Hands-on experience with payroll software (Style is a plus), HRIS platforms, electronic employee file management systems (e-dossiers), and Excel. Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage sensitive information, meet deadlines, and ensure accuracy in a fast-paced environment. A collaborative and proactive mindset , excellent communication skills, and confidence in supporting employees and working with different stakeholders. A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field, along with fluent English.
