Role Description The Payroll Specialist (SI) is a full-time remote role responsible for end-to-end payroll processing for assigned clients. Day-to-day tasks include preparing and validating payroll data, calculating wages and deductions, managing garnishments, and ensuring accurate payroll tax calculations and submissions. The role involves maintaining payroll records, resolving payroll-related inquiries, and coordinating with clients to clarify data and timelines. The Payroll Specialist (SI) will also support compliance with relevant laws and regulations, assist with payroll audits, and contribute to continuous improvement of payroll services and procedures.
Qualifications

• Strong skills in Payroll Administration and Payroll Processing, including managing multi-cycle payrolls.
• Experience with Payroll Taxes and Payroll Services, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Knowledge of Garnishments and related statutory requirements.
• Proficiency with payroll software and MS Excel or similar tools.
• Attention to detail, strong numerical skills, and ability to work with sensitive data confidentially.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact with clients remotely.
• Experience in outsourced payroll, shared services, or HR operations is an advantage.
• Relevant education in Accounting, Finance, Business, HR, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
