Entity: People, Culture & Communications Job Family Group: HR Group Job Description: About the role As a People & Culture Partner , you will play a key role in delivering bp’s strategic people priorities across the downstream organisation. Working as part of a flexible flow-to-work squad , you will collaborate closely with People & Culture (P&C) business partners, Centres of Expertise (CoEs), business leaders and other collaborators to translate strategic priorities into impactful, practical outcomes. The role provides the opportunity to work across a diverse portfolio of initiatives, ranging from talent management and organisational development to diversity, equity & inclusion (DE&I), employee engagement, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), organisational change and reorganisations. You will work in an agile, collaborative environment, moving flexibly between projects and initiatives according to business priorities. Projects will vary in scale, complexity, geographical reach and duration, providing opportunities to build broad experience and make a tangible contribution to bp’s people agenda. Key accountabilities Partner with P&C business partnering and CoE colleagues to develop, plan and deliver prioritised strategic people and culture initiatives aligned to business priorities. Translate strategic priorities into clear project plans, deliverables, achievements and actions , ensuring effective execution and delivery of outcomes. Work as part of a multi-disciplinary, agile flow-to-work squad , collaborating across functions, geographies and time zones. Deliver projects across a broad range of P&C areas, including talent management and development, DE&I, employee engagement, organisational efficiency, M&A, reorganisations and change initiatives . Build and maintain a strong understanding of the downstream business to ensure P&C solutions and results are relevant, practical and appropriately contextualised . Use people data, business insights and analytics to advise project development, decision-making and recommendations. Engage and influence business leaders and key customers as required to support successful delivery and balanced outcomes. Find opportunities to simplify, improve and standardise ways of working , applying continuous improvement principles throughout project delivery. Manage multiple priorities effectively, adapting to changing business needs while maintaining a strong focus on quality, pace and delivery. Contribute to a culture of collaboration, knowledge sharing and continuous learning across the wider P&C community. What you will bring Education Degree-level education and/or relevant professional qualification. A postgraduate qualification in Human Resources, Organisational Development or a related discipline would be advantageous. Skills and capabilities You will bring strong capability across a number of the following areas: Project management and execution – proven ability to structure, manage and deliver projects from conception through to implementation.
