Pensions Administrator
Location: Royal Mail, Pond Street, Sheffield, S98 6HR – hybrid working with 1 day remote and 4 days in-office
Starting salary £25,758
Plus:

Our pension schemes support thousands of current and former employees, and we're looking for an experienced Administrator to join our Pensions Data Management team. You'll develop specialist knowledge in pension data management while supporting automation, service improvements and continuous improvement.
About The Role
In this role, you will:
- Prepare, validate and reconcile pension member and payroll data received through pension interfaces and other sources.
- Investigate data discrepancies, resolve exceptions and ensure issues are corrected accurately and promptly.
- Use Excel and other approved tools to analyse data, perform checks and maintain accurate audit trails.
- Support automation and continuous improvement initiatives, including the use and development of Power Query solutions.
- Deliver annual pension activities and maintain compliance with Plan rules, controls and data protection requirements.
- Work collaboratively across the team, sharing knowledge, communicating effectively with stakeholders and continually developing your technical expertise.
About You
We are looking for someone who has:
- Strong attention to detail with excellent numeracy skills and a passion for working with data.
- Analytical and solutions-focused, with the ability to investigate issues and reach sound conclusions.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word, including data analysis, validation and reconciliation techniques.
- Clear and professional communicator, able to explain data issues and actions to a range of audiences.
- Organised, able to prioritise workloads, meet deadlines and work collaboratively within a team.
- Experience in pensions, payroll, data administration or another regulated processing environment is desirable but not essential.
