Board Intelligence is a technology and advisory firm on a mission to make boards more effective, and through them, build better businesses and benefit society. Over twenty years we have established ourselves as the market leader in governance and board effectiveness, trusted by more than 80,000 directors, executives, and governance professionals globally, including across the Fortune 500, FTSE 100, and OMX 30. That trust has been earned through depth of insight, rigorous advisory work, and a track record that newer entrants simply cannot replicate. We have invested in applied AI since 2020, well ahead of the market, and that early conviction has paid off. Our AI-powered platform and smart board advisor give us a competitive advantage that is widening, not narrowing. In 2024, K1 Investment Management, the leading B2B Enterprise SaaS investor, backed us to accelerate that position further. We are now growing fast, with a proven commercial model spanning both mid-market and enterprise, and a product suite that has become a necessary addition in high-stakes board environments. The people joining us now will shape how we scale. We are deliberate about how we do that. Our founders and leadership team are deeply invested in keeping the culture that got us here: thoughtful, high calibre, and genuinely human. Ambition and balance are not in competition at Board Intelligence. If you want to work at the intersection of AI and governance, on problems that matter at the highest level, this is a strong place to be. Our Mission We unleash the potential of organisations through the science of board effectiveness, building better businesses and benefitting society. The Opportunity Board Intelligence's culture is one of our biggest assets, and as we scale across geographies and expand into new products, we've created a new role in the People & Culture (P&C) team to help protect and grow it. This is a role for the visible, sociable heartbeat of P&C – someone unapologetically passionate about culture, full of ideas, and confident enough to try new things with real employees. You'll also help us bring in great talent: people who fit our culture, want to learn Board Intelligence's 'ways of working', and can add value whatever their career or educational background. The role sits across two things: running programmes end-to-end so P&C's work genuinely lands with people, and picking up the wider P&C remit – from onboarding to change management – as you grow into it. What You'll Do • Support the in-house Talent Acquisition team and the Senior Talent Partner with day-to-day recruitment activity across the business. • Run Board Intelligence's graduate hiring programme end-to-end, covering marketing grad roles, grad sales, and other early-career hires. • Support with driving participation for all P&C related surveys, taking engagement survey scores and translating them into practical, visible initiatives that employees actually feel. • Build P&C's brand credibility with employees and actively drive-up participation rates in P&C-led initiatives, treating buy-in as something you win, not something you assume. • Own the onboarding and employee pride dimension of EVP, ensuring new hires feel welcomed and are rapidly set up for success into ‘ways of working’. Dream up socials, engagement events and recognition moments that people actually talk about afterwards to build connection and pride. • Lead AI-augmented change management across the business, bringing people along with genuine enthusiasm and curiosity rather than compliance messaging. • Provide direct project support to the CPO on People & Culture initiatives. • Run programmes and projects end-to-end, from planning through to delivery, keeping momentum without needing to be chased. • Build genuine relationships across the business, acting as a proactive, visible presence for P&C. • Use this role as a springboard into broader People & Culture work, building capability beyond recruitment over time. • Plan and run engaging company-wide events – from away days to culture and engagement initiatives – that bring people together and reinforce what makes Board Intelligence a great place to work. About You • You come from an events management, recruitment, or EA background – HR experience isn't necessary, but a genuine interest in moving into People & Culture is essential. • 2–4 years' experience in employee experience, engagement, internal communications, events, recruitment, or EA support, ideally within a multi-site or international business. • Proactive by nature – you spot what needs doing and get on with it without waiting to be asked. • An engaging extrovert who builds rapport quickly and enjoys being the visible face of an initiative. • A genuine track record of getting people to actually turn up, comfortable measuring and improving participation, not just running events. • Project-focused – you like owning a programme end-to-end and seeing it through, rather than just organising a one-off event. • Comfortable working with survey data and engagement scores, translating them into a credible narrative and initiatives people actually feel, not just a dashboard. • Confident operating close to a CPO; a direct communicator who doesn't need heavy oversight. Character & Style This role is highly sociable, proactive and hands-on by design – someone who lights up a room, builds relationships easily across every level of the business, and treats events and programmes as things to be run properly, not just organised. They live Board Intelligence's values in how they show up every day: Kindness & Caring in how they treat people, Curiosity & Innovation in the ideas they bring, and Remarkable Service in every interaction, however small. They're not precious about coming from outside HR – recruitment, events, or EA experience has taught them how to make things happen, and they're excited to bring that energy into People & Culture. Above all, they're protective of what makes Board Intelligence's culture special – keeping the best of what each of our three businesses brings, while always finding fresh, fun ways to bring it to life.
