We're now looking for a People Generalist to join our global People team and become our primary People representative in New York. About the role While most of our People team is based in Stockholm, you'll be our local People presence in the US, working closely with employees, managers, and key stakeholders in New York while collaborating with colleagues across our global organization. You'll support our growing US team of 30+ employees, while also coordinating employment matters for our international employees through our Employer of Record (EOR) partners. This is a broad, hands-on role where no two days are the same. From onboarding and benefits to employee support, workplace experience, and local office operations, you'll play an important role in creating a positive employee experience. We're looking for someone who enjoys being the go-to person for employees. You're proactive, service-minded, and equally comfortable answering a benefits question, coordinating a new hire's first day, improving a People process, or helping make our New York office a welcoming place to work. Please note that we are hiring for this role in the New York area. What you will be doing US People Operations Act as the primary People contact for employees and managers in the US. Manage the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, employment changes, and HR documentation. Administer US benefits, including annual renewals, enrollments, and employee support. Support employees and managers with HR-related questions, policies, and day-to-day employment matters. Coordinate with Legal, Finance, Payroll, and external partners to ensure compliant and efficient People processes. Global Employment Operations Coordinate employment administration for employees hired through Employer of Record (EOR) partners. Support onboarding, offboarding, employment changes, and international employment setups. Partner with EOR providers to ensure a smooth employee experience for our international employees. Support consistent and compliant employment processes across our international workforce. Workplace & Employee Experience (New York) Serve as the primary People contact for our New York office. Coordinate workplace operations, facilities, vendors, and office logistics. Support local onboarding, employee engagement initiatives, office events, and visitors. Help create a welcoming, well-functioning workplace that reflects our culture and values. Recruitment Support Support recruitment activities, including interview coordination, offers, and onboarding. Support employer branding initiatives as needed. People Operations Maintain accurate employee data and HR systems. Contribute to improving People processes, documentation, and ways of working. Support global People initiatives as required. What skills and experience we think you have Minimum of 4 years of experience in HR, People Operations, or a broad HR Generalist role. A good understanding of US employment practices and benefits administration. Experience supporting employees throughout the employee lifecycle. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. A proactive, flexible, and service-oriented mindset. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Experience with EOR providers or international employment is a plus. Experience or interest in employer branding is a plus. Experience working with HR systems such as HiBob, Deel, or similar is a plus. Working at Natural Cycles This role offers the opportunity to make a real impact as the local extension of our global People team. You'll work closely with colleagues in Stockholm while building strong relationships with employees and stakeholders across our New York office. Although we work in a hybrid environment, this role requires regular on-site presence in our New York office (typically 2–3 days per week) to support employees, workplace operations, visitors, and other office activities. We're therefore looking for someone who is based within an easy commuting distance of our Manhattan office. Salary bracket: $90,000 - $100,000 While most offers will be closer to the starting range, successful candidates’ pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, internal peer equity, and market conditions.
