Description As the EMEA People Partner, you are trusted partner for managers and employees across the region, primary focused on employees in the UK, Denmark and Germany. You translate global People programs into local action for the entire employee lifecycle; following global processes and strategies wherever possible. This is a high-ownership role for someone who pairs strong business partnership instincts with operational excellence and pride in getting the details right. You will run the regional rhythms that keep the EMEA organization healthy — day to day employee support, engagement and pulse survey focus groups, compensation changes, goal planning and reviews. You serve as the EMEA super user for our HR systems (UKG as the source of truth). You'll partner with the global People Team on employee initiatives, priorities and shape solutions and policies, and ensure consistent process and alignment across every EMEA country. Success looks like leaders who feel supported, employees who feel heard, clean and trustworthy people data, and a People function that delivers consistently across the region. What You’ll Do People Partner for EMEA Employees and Leaders Support EMEA employees across the region, ensure you are a credible and trusted partner for our employees. You look for ways to provide a supportive experience but also help us to drive process and people efficiency via automation, better process or self service, where possible and for the right moments. Act as the people partner to EMEA leaders, coaching them through team, talent, and organizational topics with a practical, business-aware approach. Translate global People initiatives into local execution - following global processes and strategies wherever possible and adapting only where local context requires it. Talks to keep leaders connected to People priorities and to surface what's happening on the ground. Coordinate and organise Manager Forums to build manager capability, share best practices, and reinforce a consistent leadership standard across EMEA. Drive regional engagement and pulse survey completion and focus groups to interpret results and turn feedback into action. Employee Lifecycle Ownership (EMEA) Own the EMEA employee lifecycle (post recruitment and onboarding): goals and reviews, internal moves, compensation reviews, and offboarding. Run termination processes with discretion, compliance, and care, including exit interviews that produce usable insight. Own and maintain the EMEA Employee Handbook and ensure it reflects current policy and local requirements. Serve as the first point of contact for managers and employees on performance management, employee relations, and policy interpretation, balancing empathy with compliance and business needs. Operational Excellence & People Data Own People data inputs that support third-party payroll and time management (Deel), ensuring employee changes, compensation updates, leave data, and other payroll-impacting information are accurate, submitted on time, audited, and resolved in partnership with Finance and vendor. Drive global People processes and best practices into EMEA execution, ensuring process integration and alignment across countries. Operate as the EMEA super user for UKG (global source of truth) and local systems- keeping employee records, documents, salary data, and system updates accurate and current. Accountable for data to feed third part payroll and time management systems (Deel). Acts as partner, data auditor, Pull reports and run analyses on people data; partner with the global People Leaders to identify trends and shape solutions, programs, and policies. Own regional operations and support, including goal setting and annual goal planning and reviews and engagement / pulse survey cycles. Maintain a high focus on data accuracy, compliance documentation, and audit readiness across EMEA. Is familiar and curious about AI and automation, finding the right balance to simplify and create better processes and experiences while having the right instincts to know when human touch or ownership is critical. Country-Specific HR & Change Execution Manage the complexity of local employment law, benefits, leave practices, and statutory requirements. Primarily across the UK, Germany, Denmark. Partner closely with external vendors and advisors (employment counsel, benefits brokers, payroll providers) to deliver compliant, high-quality outcomes. Operationalise changes coming from leadership or global People programs into clean, well-executed local rollouts. Act with urgency and discretion during sensitive or time-critical employee matters, serving as the stabilizing execution arm of the EMEA People Team. Who You Are 5+ years of HR generalist or HR Business Partner experience, with meaningful exposure to multi-country European environments. Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience. Working knowledge of employment law and HR practices across multiple EMEA countries (UK, Germany, and Denmark strongly preferred). Hands-on experience owning the employee lifecycle: onboarding, goals and reviews, employee relations, and offboarding. Super-user-level fluency with HRIS platforms; experience with UKG preferred, plus tools such as payroll (Deel) performance management (Quantum) Strong analytical instincts — pulls reports, spots trends, and partners to translate data into programs and policy. Comfortable facilitating leader and manager forums, focus groups, and structured employee touchpoints. High responsiveness and exceptional attention to detail; people-data and system updates are accurate and timely. Able to balance empathy with compliance and business needs in employee relations and sensitive situations. Experience working with external vendors and advisors (employment counsel, benefits, payroll providers). Excellent written and verbal communication skills; additional European languages a plus.
