ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Creative throughput, not budget, is the real constraint on how fast we can grow paid acquisition. This role exists to remove that constraint: a dedicated performance creative producer who can consistently ship a high volume of tested, native, short-form concepts for a multi-brand DTC business.
This is a high-output performance role, not a portfolio or art-direction role. You'll work in close partnership with our Performance Marketing Manager, turning test results into the next round of concepts, and building a real system — not just a folder of files — around what you produce.
ABOUT US
Ecotero LLC operates five private-label brands led by DECOLURE in premium bedding and home textiles. Amazon is the mature channel at $18M+ annually across roughly 703 SKUs. TikTok Shop does roughly $4.5M and is growing. DTC on Shopify is early.
We are a 27-person distributed team. The analytical infrastructure here is unusual for a business this size: SKU-level COGS across the full catalogue, daily API pipelines into PostgreSQL, competitor tracking, and AI operational agents that produce weekly audit drafts, anomaly flags and performance reports for your review.
SCOPE OF THIS ROLE
This role reports directly to the Head of DTC. You'll work daily with the Performance Marketing Manager, who supplies test results and direction, and with the Lifecycle and Retention Manager for occasional lifecycle-related asset needs. You'll also work from creator content sourced by our social/affiliate team, focusing on adapting and re-cutting that raw material into paid-ready performance creative.
You do not own creator sourcing, influencer relationships, or commercial terms with creators — that sits with a separate function. You do not own paid media buying or budget decisions. Your job is volume, quality, and system: concepts in, tested variants out, on a fast and repeatable cycle.
As paid spend grows, this role is expected to be joined by a second producer splitting scope by surface.
WHAT YOU OWN
- A steady monthly cadence of new performance creative concepts, scaling with paid spend — roughly 12–20 concepts per month at current spend levels, stepping up toward 30 as spend approaches $50,000/month, and 40 or more as spend approaches $95,000/month.
- Turning each concept into a real variant set — hook, opening frame, caption, length, and aspect ratio — to support structured testing rather than one-off assets.
- 9:16 vertical video as the default format, with 1:1 and 4:5 derivatives for cross-placement use.
- Re-cutting and adapting existing creator/UGC footage into new paid-ready concepts, rather than relying solely on new shoots.
- UGC direction and creative briefing aligned to brand creative standards.
- Static and lifestyle image derivatives for product pages, email, and paid placements as needed.
- Hook writing and testing — the first three seconds is the job.
- Captions, burned-in subtitles, pacing, and functional sound design.
- A well-organized asset library with metadata on every file: brand, SKU, hook type, claim made, and rights status.
- A naming convention that lets performance marketing trace a winning ad back to its source concept.
- Rights and usage status verification on every creator asset before it enters paid media — no exceptions.
- Staying current on platform content requirements and restrictions for shoppable and paid-social video, and building creative that stays compliant.
REQUIRED EVIDENCE
Required:
- You can show 20 or more performance creative concepts you personally produced in a single month, with visible variant testing (100+ total variants across those concepts), via a link that opens without an access request.
- You have direct paid-social creative production experience — Meta, TikTok, or comparable short-form ad platforms — not portfolio or brand-film work alone.
- You can walk through one specific ad you edited that won: the hook, why it worked, and what you tested next based on the result.
- You track and apply rights/usage status and basic claims-compliance awareness before creative goes live in paid media.
- You have a working process for turning performance feedback into your next round of concepts — this is a feedback loop, not one-off production.
- You're comfortable with a high-volume production cadence and can describe what breaks first when you exceed your ceiling.
- You can commit to meaningful overlap with US Eastern working hours for collaboration with the performance marketing function.
Preferred:
- Experience producing creative for TikTok Shop or other live-commerce/shoppable video formats.
- Experience in bedding, home goods, or textiles.
- AI-assisted editing, captioning, or variant-generation workflow experience, with a clear point of view on where you do and don't trust the output.
- Experience organizing a shared asset library with metadata for a marketing or creative team.
- Comfort working directly from raw creator/UGC footage rather than fully-produced source material.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
In the first 30 days:
- A working production rhythm is established.
- The asset library and naming system are in place.
- Rights/metadata tracking is running cleanly on every new asset.
In the first 90 days:
- Concept volume is consistent at the current-stage target.
- Hook testing is generating clear winners and learnings.
- The feedback loop with performance marketing is running smoothly.
As paid spend scales:
- Concept volume steps up in line with spend milestones.
- The system you've built supports that growth without a drop in quality or compliance.
WHAT YOU'LL GET
- Competitive salary based on experience.
- Fully remote position. Work from anywhere.
- Direct access to the CEO. Your ideas and analysis reach the decision-maker, not a middle manager.
- Advanced tooling and infrastructure, including AI-powered analytics, custom dashboards, and automated reporting that let you focus on strategy instead of data entry.
- A team that values data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.
- Opportunities for growth as the company expands into new marketplaces and channels.
- Employee discounts on Decolure products.
