Role Overview

At Job Duck, we connect talented professionals with growing law firms that need dedicated team members to help drive case progress and deliver exceptional client service. We are seeking a Personal Injury Intake and Case Manager who is passionate about helping clients navigate the legal process while ensuring cases move forward efficiently. In this role, you will serve as a key point of coordination between clients, medical providers, insurance companies, courts, and legal staff. The ideal candidate is proactive, empathetic, highly organized, and eager to take ownership of responsibilities without constant supervision. Schedule:

Monday to Friday from Friday 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM EST

Your Responsibilities Will Include but Are Not Limited To:

• Following up on outstanding requests with clients, medical providers, insurance companies, and third parties
• Reporting claims and assisting with claim-related processes
• Communicating with courts regarding case-related matters and updates
• Monitoring case progress and helping move files through each stage of the case lifecycle
• Requesting and obtaining medical records and supporting case documentation
• Conducting client intake activities and gathering necessary information and documentation
• Identifying and proactively resolving case bottlenecks
• Tracking deadlines and outstanding items to ensure timely completion
• Coordinating with attorneys and legal staff regarding next steps and case developments
• Providing case updates and maintaining regular communication with clients
• Maintaining accurate and organized records within the case management system

What We’re Looking For:

• Prior experience as a Personal Injury Case Manager, Intake Specialist, or Legal Assistant
• Strong understanding of personal injury case workflows and processes
• Experience handling client communications and case documentation
• Ability to manage multiple active cases simultaneously
• Experience with NEOS by Assembly, RingCentral, and Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent follow-up and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and proactively
• Strong attention to detail
• Willingness to learn new processes and take on additional responsibilities as needed
• Proactive and self-motivated mindset
• Strong follow-through and task ownership
• Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple deadlines
• Empathetic and client-focused communication style
• Strong professionalism and commitment to confidentiality
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Reliable computer setup (laptop/PC, headset, stable internet min. 10 Mbps download / 5 Mbps upload)
• Quiet, distraction-free remote work environment
