Start your journey with us The Personal Lines department is currently seeking a product analyst to implement and monitor state rate changes, rules, and forms to support profitable growth and develop and maintain reports to help in the planning of rate strategies. Salary: The pay range for this position is $50,000- $110,000 annually. The pay determination is based on the applicant’s education, experience, location, knowledge, skills, and abilities. Eligible associates may also receive an annual cash bonus and stock incentives based on company and individual performance Be ready to: Refresh existing reports and perform quality checks on results Provide small enhancements on existing reports as directed Build simple reports based on existing data sources (ex. Pivot tables, bar charts and line graphs) Run simple queries on existing datasets using SAS/SQL Make minor modification on more advanced tools (Python, Power BI, R) Answer basic questions from the business using existing data sources and reports Implementation: Utilize RMC and Rating Config to calculate impacts of simple rate changes With assistance, complete more advanced rate changes Become proficient in either the home or auto rating plans Answer rate change questions from Sales, UW, or Operations Create and review rate pages and other filing materials Review bulk test runs for CCC states, answer basic/intermediate questions Be Equipped With: demonstrated ability to extract, manipulate and analyze data excellent communication skills, both written and verbal advanced skills in Microsoft® Excel proven time management skills and the ability to multi-task and prioritize projects ability to work independently candidates for the experienced job roles should also: be technically proficient in data manipulation tools such as SAS, SQL, R or equivalent have experience in rate making methodologies Bring Education and experience from: bachelor’s degree in business or an analytical field of study (math, economics, finance, statistics, actuarial science) or relevant work experience.
