Description
Performs phlebotomy functions and non-technical duties in areas including the hospital laboratory, outpatient and off-site services. Responsible for the safe and accurate collection and disposition of blood samples and responsible for performing associate's laboratory duties.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED equivalent is preferred with any additional training or education desirable.
Previous experience is desirable but not required. Venipuncture and Micro-puncture experience is desirable.
Phlebotomy certification, phlebotomy trained certification eligible or appropriate on-the-job training required. BLS required.
