PHP Developer

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Mid-Level PHP Developer to join our development team. In this role, you will work primarily with pure PHP 8+ to build, maintain, and improve backend systems and web applications. You should be comfortable writing clean, efficient, and scalable code without relying heavily on full-stack frameworks. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, backend architecture, and writing modern PHP applications using best practices and object-oriented programming principles. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain web applications using pure PHP 8+ Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code Design and implement backend APIs and business logic Work with PostgreSQL and other relational databases Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize existing systems Collaborate with frontend developers and other team members Participate in code reviews and technical discussions Improve application performance, security, and scalability Contribute to software architecture and technical decisions Maintain and update existing legacy PHP systems when required Required Qualifications 2+ years of professional PHP development experience Strong knowledge of PHP 8+ and modern PHP practices Solid understanding of OOP, SOLID principles, and design patterns Good understanding of REST APIs and backend integrations Knowledge of web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and HTTP Experience debugging and profiling PHP applications Ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively The salary range for this role is €4,000–€4,500 gross per month.
