PHP (Native) Developer

Key responsibilities: Participates in the entire software development cycle - requirements analysis, design and development, unit testing and documentation Responsible for long-term code reusability and stability Proactively identifies security, usability etc. issues and formulates strategies to resolve them Works independently, without guidance, with a broader overview of the project Takes ownership of the delivery of complex application features and resolves key technical issues related to the assigned project Complies with the estimation process and is responsible for accurate personal estimates Develops required software features, achieving timely and quality delivery Delivers trainings and participates in knowledge sharing Mentors new software engineers in the team Integrates new technologies Understands and follows the release processes in the company What we are looking for: 6+ years of experience with PHP; Academic background in IT or equivalent; Strong working experience and knowledge with PHP from 7.3 to 8.1; Clear understanding of OOP, Design Patterns and anti-patterns, and SOLID principles; Working experience with relational Databases DBMS; A good understanding of project tools (Atlassian OR git/svn ...) is required; Experienced with testing layers (unit, integration, and functional testing); Knowledge in algorithms and distributed systems; Proficiency in English. Nice to have: Experience with Ecom solutions such as Magento, Prestashop, CS-Cart, xCart OR any PHP CMS as WordPress, Drupal, Joomla, etc; Knowledge in JavaScript (ES6) is a plus; Experience with services/microservices oriented architecture, ideally in an e-commerce scope; Familiar with SCRUM methodology.
