Planning Engineer at BairesDev

As a Planning Engineer, you will focus on the development and implementation of advanced motion planning algorithms for autonomous systems. You will translate complex kinematic and dynamic models into efficient, real-time pathfinding solutions that ensure safe and smooth vehicle navigation.

What You'll Do

• Architect and deploy motion planning algorithms including RRT, A*, and lattice planners.
• Optimize vehicle trajectories to ensure high-performance execution within real-time constraints.
• Implement Model Predictive Control (MPC) strategies to manage complex system dynamics.
• Collaborate on the integration of navigation pipelines with decision-making logic and hardware.
• Refine motion planning software to handle uncertainty and diverse environmental conditions.
  
  

What We Are Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in Software Engineering, Robotics, or Autonomous Systems.
• Proven expertise in developing and implementing motion planning algorithms such as RRT, A*, and MPC.
• Advanced proficiency in C++ and trajectory optimization techniques.
• Solid understanding of real-time constraints and kinematic/dynamic modeling for robotics.
• Hands-on experience with autonomous vehicle navigation and decision-making pipelines.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
