Playwright AI Tester

Job Title: Playwright Automation Engineer Experience: 3–7 Years Location: Offshore / Hybrid / Onsite (as applicable) Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled Playwright Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for modern web applications. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in Playwright, TypeScript/JavaScript, API testing, CI/CD integration, and Agile methodologies. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Playwright . Build and maintain scalable automation frameworks using TypeScript or JavaScript . Automate functional, regression, smoke, and end-to-end test scenarios. Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and product owners to understand requirements and ensure quality. Perform API testing using tools such as Postman or Playwright API. Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.). Analyze test execution results, identify defects, and work closely with development teams for resolution. Maintain test data, automation reports, and documentation. Continuously improve automation coverage and testing processes. Required Skills: Strong experience with Playwright automation. Proficiency in TypeScript or JavaScript . Experience with Node.js . Strong understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, DOM, REST APIs). Experience with API automation testing. Knowledge of version control systems such as Git . Experience with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions). Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
