PMO Director

Redtree is seeking an experienced PMO Director to build, lead, and continuously evolve our Project Management Office as we scale our operations. This is a strategic leadership opportunity for a proven project management professional who wants to create the framework, governance, and processes that will drive successful project delivery across a growing engineering consulting organization.

What You Will Achieve

• Establish, lead, and mature Redtree's Project Management Office, including governance, methodologies, standards, and reporting frameworks.
• Partner closely with engineering, operations, and business leaders to ensure projects are consistently scoped, planned, staffed, executed, and monitored.
• Develop and oversee portfolio-level reporting, providing executive leadership with visibility into project performance, budgets, schedules, risks, resource utilization, and delivery metrics.
• Implement project controls and governance processes that improve predictability, accountability, and operational efficiency.
• Proactively identify and mitigate project risks, resource constraints, schedule delays, and scope changes before they impact clients or business objectives.
• Lead capacity planning and resource management efforts across multiple projects and disciplines.
• Mentor project managers and technical leaders on project management best practices, governance, project controls, and client delivery excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related technical field required.
• Master's degree (MBA, Engineering Management, or related field) is preferred.
• At least 8+ years of progressive project management experience, including leadership of a PMO, project controls function, or equivalent project governance organization.
• Experience within engineering consulting, AEC, energy, infrastructure, utilities, EPC, or other technical consulting environments.
• Demonstrated success building PMO processes, governance structures, reporting systems, and delivery frameworks from the ground up.
• Experience managing project portfolios, resource planning, budgets, schedules, and risk management programs.

Certifications& Technical Skills

• PMP (Project Management Professional) certification strongly preferred.
• PgMP, PMI-ACP, CCM, or related professional certifications are considered a plus.
• Strong proficiency with project management and reporting tools, including: Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, Power BI, Microsoft Office Suite, Project portfolio management and resource planning platforms
