PMO & UAT Specialist – Oracle FLEXCUBE Core Banking

Role Purpose

We are seeking an experienced PMO & UAT Specialist with hands-on Oracle FLEXCUBE Core Banking experience to support a bank’s core banking implementation, enhancement, and testing programme.

The successful candidate will provide hands-on support in test planning, UAT coordination and execution, defect management, stakeholder coordination, progress monitoring, and PMO reporting. The role requires practical knowledge of Oracle FLEXCUBE and the ability to work effectively across Business, Operations, IT, QA, Core Banking teams, interfacing application teams, and external vendors.

This is an offsite/remote role, requiring strong coordination skills and the ability to independently manage testing and UAT activities across multiple stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

· Plan, coordinate, monitor, and support System Testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for Oracle FLEXCUBE-related initiatives.

· Develop and maintain UAT plans, test schedules, test scenarios, test cases, test scripts, traceability, and execution trackers.

· Demonstrate hands-on understanding of Oracle FLEXCUBE Core Banking System and relevant banking modules and business processes.

· Personally execute, review, or supervise critical FLEXCUBE test cases and UAT scenarios where required.

· Validate expected versus actual results and ensure appropriate supporting evidence is maintained for completed test cases.

· Coordinate end-to-end and integration testing between FLEXCUBE and interfacing applications.

· Act as the central coordination point between Business Users, Operations, QA, IT, Core Banking teams, application teams, and external vendors during testing and UAT.

· Coordinate identification, logging, prioritization, assignment, retesting, and closure of defects.

· Monitor testing progress, outstanding issues, dependencies, risks, and blockers and escalate critical matters in a timely manner.

· Facilitate UAT meetings, defect review sessions, status meetings, and stakeholder discussions.

· Ensure test cases adequately cover relevant business requirements, functional specifications, workflows, interfaces, and business processes.

· Maintain appropriate UAT documentation, testing evidence, defect logs, issue trackers, and sign-off records.

· Prepare regular PMO/UAT status reports and management dashboards covering progress, defects, risks, dependencies, and key decisions required.

· Support UAT readiness assessments and coordinate formal business sign-off prior to production implementation.

· Assist with cutover readiness, implementation coordination, and post-implementation validation where required.

Required Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, Banking, Finance, or a related discipline.

· Relevant professional certifications in Project Management, Software Testing, Business Analysis, Agile, or Oracle FLEXCUBE will be an advantage.

Required Experience

· Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience in banking technology, core banking implementation, software testing, UAT, business analysis, or technology project management.

· Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with Oracle FLEXCUBE Core Banking, preferably involving testing, implementation, upgrade, migration, or enhancement projects.

· Demonstrable experience in UAT planning, test case preparation, test execution, defect management, and UAT sign-off.

· Experience working on banking/core banking transformation or implementation projects.

· Experience coordinating across Business, Operations, IT, QA, vendors, and other technology stakeholders.

· Practical experience in testing interfaces and end-to-end banking processes involving core banking and connected applications.

· Experience in PMO reporting, project tracking, risk/issue management, and stakeholder coordination.

Preferred Experience

• Preference will be given to candidates who have worked directly on Oracle FLEXCUBE implementation, upgrade, migration, or transformation programmes within banks or financial institutions, particularly those with experience coordinating business UAT across multiple FLEXCUBE modules and interfacing systems.
