Overview for this 1099 Contract Project Name: Sylvamo Virtual Focus Groups / Workshops Job Title: Portuguese/English Speaking Virtual Focus Group Facilitator / Interviewer Number of Positions: 1 Work Location: Remote Work Schedule: Flexible schedule to support Brazil-based virtual workshop participants; workshops anticipated between mid-September and end of October 2026. Start Date: Mid-September 2026 to e nd of October 2026 AllenComm needs contractor support for six virtual Sylvamo workshops/focus groups with participants in Brazil. The contractor will provide Portuguese-language facilitation support and structured documentation so the internal AllenComm team can focus on synthesis, analysis, and downstream design work. This support is needed because the workshops require language fluency, live moderation, accurate capture of participant input, and organized documentation within a compressed project window. Job Description Summary of Duties: Support six virtual focus group/workshop sessions for Sylvamo Brazil stakeholders. Each workshop may run up to four hours with up to six participants. AllenComm will provide the workshop materials, discussion prompts, and questions in English. The contractor will support workshop facilitation, capture detailed notes, coordinate recordings/transcripts, and organize documentation for upload into the project repository. Key Responsibilities: Review AllenComm-provided workshop materials and questions; facilitate or co-facilitate virtual workshops with Brazil-based participants; support discussion flow and clarify questions; coordinate or manage workshop recordings; support creation of English transcripts; capture detailed interview/workshop notes; structure and organize gathered information in the agreed documentation format; upload final documentation into the project repository; flag unclear, incomplete, or inconsistent participant feedback for AllenComm follow-up. Required Skills/Qualifications: Fluent in Portuguese and English; experience facilitating or supporting virtual focus groups, interviews, workshops, or discovery sessions; strong note-taking and documentation skills; ability to translate or summarize Portuguese participant input clearly in English; comfort with virtual meeting tools and recordings; ability to organize detailed qualitative input without producing a separate findings or themes report; strong attention to detail; availability between mid-September and end of October 2026. Preferred Skills/Qualifications: Experience supporting learning and development, training, instructional design, or change-management projects; experience with corporate stakeholders in Brazil; familiarity with structured interview documentation or stakeholder discovery; comfort working from English source materials and capturing participant input in English. Compensation & Budget Compensation Type: $90 an hour ( Would be open to either hourly or fixed rate) Other Details Onboarding Schedule (If any): Short project onboarding before the first workshop, targeted for mid-September 2026.
