Job Description This is a remote position. McBride Consulting is seeking a PowerBI Developer for a banking client in Northern VA. Ideally, the candidate has a strong understanding and experience supporting data analysis, designing intuitive dashboards, and building semantic models. The Developer will support the front end of the Microsoft BI stack, partnering closely with a Data Engineer to transform curated data into meaningful insights that drive business decisions. You will be asked to build and optimize Power BI reports, dashboards, and semantic models. Partnering with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements Working alongside the Data Engineering team within Microsoft Fabric. Develop AI-enabled reporting experiences using Copilot Studio and Microsoft Fabric capabilities. Improve reporting performance, governance, and self-service analytics across the business. Work with Excel to build detailed and coherent reports with heavy data requirements utilizing Microsoft PowerBI. Supporting project management activities and working with the project manager to maintain contractual compliance. Requirements • Experience in data/BI development, financial services or banking client preferred • Power BI report and dashboard development mandatory, including publishing and workspace management • Data modeling (fact/dimension / star schema) for reporting performance • DAX for KPIs, measures, and analytical logic • Strong SQL and data integration across multiple sources (Oracle, SQL Server, etc.) • ETL / data transformation to cleanse and standardize data • Data visualization for both operational and executive audiences • Payments / ACH domain exposure preferred • Agile, Scrum Education and Clearance Bachelor’s Degree in a related field Must be a US citizen Benefits 401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Professional development assistance Referral program Vision insurance Our people and culture McBride is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
