• The Power BI Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and supporting enterprise Power BI dashboards, reports, and semantic data models that enable data-driven decision-making across the organization.
• This role transforms complex datasets into intuitive, high-performing visualizations, develops advanced DAX calculations, and builds scalable reporting solutions while collaborating closely with business and technical stakeholders.
• The ideal candidate has 8+ years of experience transforming complex datasets into performant data models.

Required

• 8 years Hands-on experience transforming complex datasets into performant data models.
• 4 Years Required- Designing and delivering advanced Power BI solutions, including complex semantic models and DAX calculations.
• 4 years Experience developing Power BI dashboards, reports, and data models.
• 2 years Power BI workspace management, gateway configuration, scheduled refreshes and data security
• 2 years Experience collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable reporting solutions
• 2 years Experience testing and validating Power BI solutions, including data accuracy, DAX logic, and report performance.
• 2 years Experience with Source Control, Git/BitBucket
• 2 years Previous experience working directly with special education and public education information data sets
• 2 years Previous experience working directly with Texas state agencies

Preferred

• 4 years Prior experience in data-related tasks is preferred
• 1 years Previous experience with SAS and its dataset (.sas7bdat) is preferred
• 1 years Previous experience with Jira is preferred
• 1 years Previous experience with BI tools ( SAP, Tableau) is preferred
