PPA Originator

Summary

OXBO are working with an established Solar IPP in London who are seeking a commercially minded PPA Originator to help drive the next phase of growth across a high-growth Solar PV and infrastructure platform.

This is an origination role focused on identifying, shaping, and securing new opportunities across Solar PV solutions, primarily within the data centre space, but with a general focus on large scale energy users across the UK.

The business already has a strong pipeline in place, including major blue chip deals signed, several near-term transactions, a substantial long-term land bank, and plans for international expansion. You will be responsible for the sales process from initial engagement through to PPA or Head of Terms agreement, both with their pipeline of clients and with new prospects.

You will be supported by a team of consultants

Responsibilities

• You'll be responsible for feeding a strong and active solar development pipeline.
• You’ll be networking daily, engaging at C-suite level, and stress-testing opportunities to ensure only high-quality, viable projects progress.
• You'll manage sales processes through to PPA agreement phases

Requirements

• We’re seeking someone with 5+ years’ orgination experience in the solar and or BESS space
• Experience in originating signed PPA processes in the UK
• This requires a hands-on, fast-moving mindset and the ability to create and convert opportunities, not just manage them.
• You’ll need to be confident leading senior stakeholder conversations, commercially sharp, and comfortable operating in early-stage, often complex deal environments.

Hybrid working (Our client are London based, but the role can be remote if required).

This role comes with a bonus scheme which can be elaborated on in interview.
