About groas

groas is AI execution for paid media and AEO. Our engine autonomously manages Google Ads — Search, Shopping, and Performance Max — across roughly 1,000 accounts worldwide, for direct businesses and white-label agency partners. Humans set strategy; the machine executes. We bootstrapped to eight figures in managed ad spend in under a year, and we're now launching our organic search (AEO) product alongside paid search.

We're a small, fully remote team. No offices, no bureaucracy, no layers between you and the outcome.

The role

You'll own a portfolio of client accounts across paid search and organic search. You are the human in the loop: the engine handles execution at machine speed, and you handle judgment, strategy, and the client relationship.

What that looks like day to day:

• Own client relationships end to end — onboarding calls, strategy reviews, performance conversations, renewals
• Set strategic direction for Google Ads accounts and let the engine execute it; catch what the machine shouldn't decide alone
• Run AEO engagements: audit how clients show up in AI assistant answers (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, AI Overviews), define the content and structured-data roadmap, and drive it to done
• Translate performance data into decisions clients understand and trust
• Flag churn risk early and act on it
• Feed what you learn from clients back into how we build the product

Who this is for

• 3+ years managing Google Ads accounts hands-on — you've owned budgets, not just reported on them
• Working understanding of AEO/GEO: how LLMs cite sources, structured data, llms.txt, entity optimization — or deep SEO experience and the drive to go deep on AEO fast
• You're excellent with clients: direct, calm under pressure, and able to say "this isn't working, here's what we're changing" without flinching
• Comfortable working alongside automation — your value is judgment, not manual bid changes
• Self-managing. We're remote and async-first; nobody will check whether you're online
• Agency-side experience managing multiple accounts is a strong plus
