About NKPR Founded by Natasha Koifman in 2002, NKPR is a full-service communications agency that lives at the intersection of PR, marketing, digital, and talent representation. We work with incredible global brands to tell stories that inspire, connect, and make an impact. With over 20 years of proven results, NKPR partners with clients in sectors including real estate, hospitality, lifestyle, design, technology, fashion, and financial services to deliver high-impact programs that align with business goals. Our office in the heart of downtown Toronto feels more like a home than a headquarters. Complete with cozy couches for collaboration, open creative spaces, and a rooftop patio that comes alive in the summer months. It’s a space designed for ideas to flow and for people to genuinely enjoy coming to work. We focus on supporting one another as a collaborative team vs a competitive one, with shared objectives. Life at NKPR is fast-paced, social, and full of energy. We celebrate our wins, host unforgettable events and media previews, and love finding reasons to come together - whether for a brainstorm, a rooftop hangout, or a “Thirsty Thursday.” It’s a place where creativity thrives, relationships matter, and good vibes fuel great work. Overview Account Managers at NKPR play a central role in managing client relationships and delivering integrated communications programs across industries. Based in the Toronto office, the Account Manager reports to Account Directors or senior team members and is responsible for overseeing day-to-day account execution, providing strategic input, and coaching junior staff. This role balances hands-on execution with leadership responsibilities, ensuring high-quality work that supports client success and contributes to agency growth. Role Expectations The Account Manager is expected to manage a portfolio of accounts with professionalism, strategic thinking, and attention to detail. This includes leading day-to-day client interactions, building and executing PR and social media strategies, and ensuring deliverables are completed on time and within budget. Lead the development and execution of media relations initiatives, event activations, and campaign deliverables. Draft and edit communication materials including press releases, pitches, media advisories, client updates, and social content. Manage account budgets, timelines, and reporting to ensure efficiency and effectiveness. Anticipate client needs, flag risks, and proactively present solutions. Mentor and guide junior staff, providing constructive feedback and supporting professional growth. Effectively up-manage senior leadership by keeping them informed of account health, priorities, and emerging challenges. Build and maintain strong media relationships, while identifying opportunities for clients across traditional, digital, and social channels. Monitor industry trends and incorporate insights into account strategies. Step in to support tactical execution as needed, maintaining a proactive, hands-on approach. Highly organized, adaptable, and solutions-oriented with strong project management skills. Proactive problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset. Ability to manage budgets and timelines effectively. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Work Environment & Benefits Hybrid work model (4 days in-office) Competitive salary and benefits package Health and dental coverage Paid personal days Summer hours Professional development and mentorship opportunities Open concept, collaborative workspace Casual dress code Inclusion & Culture At NKPR, we believe the best ideas come from diverse perspectives.
