Pre-Anesthesia Nurse Practitioner

About this Job MedStar Medical Group Anesthesiology is seeking a nurse practitioner for their Pre-Anesthesia Testing (PAT) Opportunity. The APP will be based in the DC and Baltimore region to support the MedStar Health system hospitals. In this role, the APP will provide clinical and professional medical services to patients prior to surgery. The APP will actively collaborate with PAT leadership, staff, anesthesia, surgeons, and hospital staff to efficiently optimize patients for surgery in a timely manner. The full-time schedule for this role will be M-F, 8hr days. This job excludes holidays, weekends, after-hour or call responsibilities. Experienced APPs are preferred with at least 5yrs or more experience. This is a great role for a primary-care or surgical APP to consider. Interested candidates can have FNP certification. Applicants with previous RN experience in PACU, Pre-Op, or Surgery are encouraged to apply as well.
