Preschool Branch Manager

Role Description

The Preschool Branch Manager is a full-time role based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The individual in this role oversees daily branch operations, ensuring a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment that aligns with the preschool’s philosophy and curriculum standards. Typical responsibilities include supervising and supporting teaching and administrative staff, managing schedules, enrollment, and parent communications, and maintaining compliance with regulatory and health and safety requirements. The Branch Manager also monitors educational quality, coordinates events and programs, manages budgets and resources, and drives continuous improvement in learning outcomes and family satisfaction. Collaboration with senior leadership on strategic planning, reporting, and implementation of best practices is an integral part of the role.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership, people management, and team-building skills to guide and support educators and staff.
• Experience in early childhood education, curriculum implementation, and classroom observation to maintain high learning standards. Experience with special needs is a plus.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills for effective engagement with children, families, and colleagues.
• Organizational, planning, and time-management skills to oversee operations, schedules, and administrative processes.
• Knowledge of child development principles, safeguarding practices, and health and safety regulations in a preschool setting.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment, using digital tools for documentation, reporting, and remote collaboration.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Early Childhood Education, Education Management, or a related field is preferred.
• Prior experience in school or preschool administration, branch management, or similar leadership roles is an advantage.
