What we’re looking for We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented and enthusiastic Price Data Analyst to join our Price Data Operations team. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about data and technology and is eager to contribute to the delivery of critical market intelligence that supports the global energy and commodity markets. You will work closely with analysts, engineers and business stakeholders, supporting data-driven processes that ensure efficient data flows, high-quality metadata and reliable analytics across the organization. In addition to supporting core data operations, you will help identify opportunities to improve efficiency through automation, AI and digital solutions. This includes contributing to the development and adoption of AI agents, Microsoft Copilot Studio solutions, Power Automate workflows and Power Query-based data processes. The ideal candidate is a strong team player with excellent communication skills, a keen eye for detail and a willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment. You should be comfortable working independently, making recommendations, influencing decisions and supporting junior colleagues when required. What will you be doing The team supports Argus' key business processes every day and provides critical coverage for global data operations. As such, you will participate in a shift-based support rotation alongside other team members. Typical support hours run from 10:00am to 7:00pm, with each team member participating in the later shift 2–3 times per week to help ensure coverage for global operations. The successful candidate will combine strong analytical and technical skills with a passion for continuous improvement, automation and delivering high-quality outcomes for both internal and external stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Setting up and managing metadata to ensure accuracy, and compliance Supporting clients with queries relating to: integration of Argus data and metadata into client systems; data validation; provision of data Executing queries to retrieve and manipulate structured datasets for analysis and efficient data workflows Collaborating with cross-functional teams to collect data requirements Communicating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders Identifying opportunities to improve operational efficiency through automation, AI and digital solutions Contributing to the design, development and continuous improvement of AI agents, Copilot solutions and automated workflows Supporting the implementation of process automation initiatives using Microsoft Copilot Studio, Power Automate and related Microsoft technologies Working with business stakeholders to translate manual processes into scalable, automated and AI-driven solutions Skills and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Business, Engineering or a related field 2–3 years of experience in a similar role Strong proficiency in MS Excel, including advanced formulas and reporting Experience with Power Query for data extraction, transformation, cleansing and automation Working knowledge of Power BI Experience in SQL for querying relational databases, preferably Oracle Experience using Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio and Power Automate Experience creating, configuring and maintaining AI agents, copilots and automated workflows Ability to identify, design and implement process improvements through automation and AI Experience integrating Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Excel and database sources into automated workflows Understanding of prompt engineering, AI-assisted analysis and generative AI tools in a business environment Analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving skills Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders What’s in it for you Our rapidly growing, award-winning business offers a dynamic environment for talented, entrepreneurial professionals to achieve results and grow their careers.
