Primary Care & Allied Health Partnerships Lead, Private Home Care

Location: Home-based within 90 minutes of Coventry, with 2-3 days each week spent meeting referral partners in Coventry and the surrounding area.

A&L is a small, family-run home-care provider in Coventry.

We have cared for people across the city for 20 years and hold ourselves to high standards of care.

We have a healthy flow of enquiries and have recently decided to grow our capacity.

Over the coming months, we will increase our investment in our care team.

As part of that growth, we are ready to appoint our first partnerships lead.

The role will focus on carefully matched, privately funded care. It does not cover council frameworks.

You will build lasting relationships with PCNs, social prescribers, GP practices, pharmacies and a other trusted local providers.

Before representing A&L, you will learn how we work. This includes how we assess and deliver care, which referrals we can accept and what we can promise. Any commitment you make must be one our care team can deliver.

Once you are ready, you will usually make the first contact by phone. From there, you will arrange meetings, prepare clear presentations that reflect how we work, and develop those relationships steadily over time.

We are looking for someone with substantial experience in health or social care and a strong understanding of PCNs, GP practices, social prescribing teams and community care services.

You must also be comfortable working as part of a family business.

As our first partnerships hire, you will be A&L’s main point of contact across Coventry’s health and care community. You will be trusted to protect the reputation A&L has built over 20 years.

You will also shape the culture and standards of the partnerships team we may later build around you.

For those reasons, we know we may be overly cautious about this appointment. We will consider experience, judgement, values and fit with A&L’s culture, and we will not rush the decision.
