Due to strategic growth, we are seeking to speak with a Principal-level BIM Modeller with a strong electrical building services background to join our National Building Engineering team. This role can be based in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra or Adelaide . How you'll make a difference: Work within a multidisciplinary Building Services team delivering projects across Defence, Healthcare, Aviation, Education, Commercial and major Infrastructure sectors. Lead the management and coordination of BIM deliverables for electrical services throughout design and construction phases. Collaborate closely with engineers, designers and BIM technicians to develop high-quality, data-rich models and documentation that meet client requirements and project objectives. Support project delivery by producing accurate BIM reports, monitoring model quality and working alongside Design Managers and Project Controls teams to ensure efficient project execution. Facilitate multidisciplinary BIM coordination meetings, applying your knowledge of ISO 19650 and industry best practice to drive collaboration and resolve design issues. Mentor and support junior BIM modellers while championing innovation and continuous improvement across digital engineering workflows. The qualities that help you thrive: Technical qualifications from an approved TAFE or tertiary institution, with ideally 10+ years' experience in BIM modelling within electrical building services. Demonstrated experience producing high-quality, data-rich electrical models and documentation using Revit. Strong understanding of BIM standards, including ISO 19650, and experience coordinating multidisciplinary models. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to facilitate BIM workshops, present technical information to stakeholders and prepare project reports. Experience with Revizto is highly regarded. Knowledge of Navisworks, Dynamo and Power BI is also desirable. Given the nature of the projects, Australian Citizenship is preferred, with an existing Defence Security Clearance highly regarded.
