What You'll Do

• Lead the technical delivery of enterprise platform implementations from design through to production
• Own technical conversations with client engineering teams, architects and senior stakeholders
• Design end-to-end integration solutions across complex enterprise environments
• Lead implementation workshops and technical discovery sessions
• Define integration patterns, APIs, authentication models and data flows
• Oversee configuration and integration work carried out by implementation engineers
• Act as the senior technical escalation point throughout delivery
• Balance technical delivery with commercial priorities, helping manage scope and technical risk
• Work closely with Product, Engineering and Delivery teams to continuously improve implementation standards
• Help shape best practice across a growing implementation engineering function

What You'll Bring

• Strong software engineering background with experience progressing into a Technical Lead, Principal Engineer or similar position
• Experience delivering enterprise SaaS implementations
• Strong understanding of API design and enterprise integration patterns
• Experience designing technical solutions across multiple integrated systems
• Knowledge of authentication technologies such as OAuth and OpenID Connect
• Experience with Python, JavaScript, React and JSON
• Understanding of cloud-based architectures, ideally AWS
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead technical discussions with enterprise clients
• Commercial awareness and the confidence to make technical decisions in client-facing environments

Nice to Have

• Experience working with banking, wealth management or financial services clients
• Professional Services or Consultancy experience
• Experience working with globally distributed engineering teams
• Experience supporting platform migrations or large-scale transformation programmes
• Solution design experience across enterprise software implementations

Following continued growth, they're investing heavily in their European engineering function and are looking for a Principal Implementation Engineer to become the technical lead on complex enterprise client implementations.
