The Challenge Ahead The Principal Project Controls & Analysis Planner will be accountable for planning and scheduling as part of the Jansen Stage 1 investment at Potash by enabling a positive culture through a highly engaged workforce and visible leadership of BHP’s Charter Values. This is a 6-month term role Key Responsibilities Apply an understanding of the business context, BHP operating model and ways of working to enhance decision making, productivity and value chain performance. Define project schedule objectives, identify critical activities, monitor the progress and drive continuous improvement initiatives across projects at BHP. Apply and evaluate change management methods, data, purpose, value and strategic direction. Plan, track the delivery of and manage project planning to generate value and drive the achievement of project outcomes. Support the interface between construction and commissioning from multiple project packages within execution to deliver the optimum value to the investment. Support/Enable a culture of trust and performance within the planning team to deliver positive outcomes to the project. What You'll Bring to the Role Experience in a leadership position in construction, projects or equivalent environment. Extensive experience in planning of construction projects in execution. Strong interpersonal skills, time management and prioritization attributes. Industry Knowledge from the mining, manufacturing, construction, agriculture, forestry, power/utilities, transportation and/or oil & gas industries. Strong network across a diverse set of project functions with a robust reputation and an excellent track record of broader stakeholder activity. Strong influencing skills with an ability to interface across the entire project teams. Experience in major capital projects spanning different phases would be considered an asset. Undergraduate degree in a related field (Construction Management; Business; Finance; Engineering) or equivalent experience is required. Any other relevant professional qualifications (AACEi etc.) will also be considered an asset. Work Location This role is based in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan .
