Principal Specialist, Treasury

• Monitors and analyzes the organization's cash flow and liquidity needs to ensure sufficient cash is available to meet operational requirements • Reviews treasury and settlement operations to ensure seamless execution in support of strategy and in accordance with approved policies and procedures. Provides feedback and identifies areas for improvement to ensure compliance and efficiency • Continuously develops and shares knowledge on emerging trends and changes in treasury principles and practices with the team, using expertise from specific functional areas to influence commercial decision making • Supports the implementation of cash management processes and identifies areas for potential improvements. Follows and supports the application of treasury standards, policies and procedures to ensure risks are properly addressed, as well as contributing to good corporate governance • Reviews the proposals for improving working processes and supports the implementation of continuous improvement opportunities to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of treasury processes, and to resolve data issues impacting productivity and compliance • Assesses risk, regulation and uncertainty in short-term decisions and ensures that risks are identified and managed, by establishing clear accountabilities and supporting an appropriate risk culture and control environment • Analyzes data on impacts of treasury decisions and processes, reviews supporting documents and provides management with preliminary strategic recommendations to support decision making.
