Is this job info correct?

At Bristol Myers Squibb, our employees often ask, “Who are you working for?”—a question that fuels collaboration, accountability, and urgency in our work. Our purpose-driven culture inspires us to discover, develop, and deliver innovative medicines to prevail over serious diseases. We offer uniquely interesting and meaningful work, opportunities for growth, and a supportive environment that values inclusion, wellbeing, flexibility, and comprehensive benefits. This is work that transforms the lives of patients, and the careers of those who do it. Flexible Working: 50% Hybrid Working Location: Uxbridge, UK What if your code could change a life? Not metaphorically. Not eventually. But directly, through the data you shape, the analyses you run, and the submissions you help bring to life. At Bristol Myers Squibb , we're on a mission to transform patients' lives through science and in our Neuroscience therapy area, that mission couldn't feel more urgent. We're working on some of the most complex, high-stakes challenges in medicine today and we need someone like you to help us get there. This is your seat at the table As a Principal Statistical Programmer here at BMS, you won't be buried in a back-office function. You'll be central to how clinical data gets shaped, interpreted, and presented to the regulators who decide whether a new therapy reaches the patients who need it most. You'll lead programming strategy on real clinical projects. You'll build the technical solutions that turn raw clinical trial data into the evidence that matters. And when a regulatory submission lands, you'll know your fingerprints are on it, in the best possible way. This is a role where your expertise doesn't just support the science. It drives it forward. What your days will actually look like You'll be hands-on and highly visible - leading programming teams, partnering with biostatisticians, data managers, clinical scientists and setting the technical direction for how data flows from collection to submission. Here's what you'll own: Lead end-to-end programming delivery - from ADaM specifications and analysis datasets through to TFLs and e-submission components. Your work sets the standard others follow. Drive quality and robustness - independently developing, validating, and troubleshooting complex SAS programs to meet regulatory expectations and internal standards, so submissions are watertight. Shape the strategy, not just execute it - reviewing statistical analysis plans and data presentation plans, identifying risks early, and bringing solutions to the table before problems escalate. Champion process improvement - you'll have the platform and the voice to identify better ways of working and actually make them happen , whether that's new technology, smarter workflows, or stronger standards. Grow the people around you - through mentoring, coaching, and supporting the recruitment of future talent, you'll leave a mark on careers, not just deliverables. Why now? When you contribute here, you're not programming in a vacuum. You're building the evidence base for treatments that could redefine how the world manages some of its most challenging diseases. What you bring You're not here to learn the basics - you're here to lead. You'll thrive in this role if you have: A Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Statistics, Biostatistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a Life Science 6+ years of industry programming experience , including meaningful involvement in regulatory submissions Deep expertise in SAS programming and a strong command of CDISC standards (SDTM, ADaM) Solid understanding of the end-to-end drug development process — from trial design through to submission The ability to communicate with clarity and confidence across technical and non-technical audiences A collaborative, proactive mindset — because the best insights come from working closely with others What you'll gain Real impact - your work directly supports the development and approval of therapies that patients are waiting for. Visibility and leadership - you'll be known across cross-functional teams, not just within your own function. Room to grow - BMS invests in its people. Whether that's technical depth, leadership development, or cross-functional exposure, your career trajectory here is genuinely yours to shape. A culture that cares - from flexible ways of working to a global community of scientists, programmers, and clinicians who are united by a shared purpose. Ready to make your work matter? If you're a Statistical Programmer who wants more than a job description - who wants to be part of something that genuinely changes lives - we'd love to hear from you. Apply now and bring your expertise to where it counts most. #LI-Hybrid We hire for skills and capabilities, not just credentials – if this role excites you, but doesn’t perfectly match your resume, we encourage you to apply anyway. How We Work Where you work matters – because collaboration, innovation and patient impact happen in many settings. Our roles are structured across four work models: site-essential, site-by-design, field-based and remote-by-design. The model assigned to this role is based on its core responsibilities.
