Private Banker | Role:
As a Private Banker, you will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with UHNWI, entrepreneurs and wealthy families while actively contributing to the growth of the bank's assets under management.
You will operate as a true business developer and trusted advisor, identifying new opportunities, developing your network and building long-term relationships with sophisticated clients.
Rather than working in isolation, you will have access to specialists across Investment Management, Wealth Planning, Credit and other areas of expertise, allowing you to provide comprehensive solutions tailored to each client's personal and financial objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development
- Actively develop a portfolio of UHNWI clients, entrepreneurs and business owners.
- Identify and approach new potential clients through networking, referrals, prospecting and your professional ecosystem.
- Build long-term relationships based on trust, discretion and a deep understanding of each client's situation.
- Develop your visibility and network within the Belgian wealth management and entrepreneurial ecosystem.
- Participate in networking events, conferences and other initiatives aimed at developing new business opportunities.
- Contribute directly to the growth of the bank's Assets under Management.
Wealth Management & Advisory
- Develop an in-depth understanding of your clients' financial, investment and wealth objectives.
- Provide personalized advice across investments, wealth management and financing solutions.
- Identify opportunities to optimize the overall structure of your clients' wealth.
- Work closely with investment specialists and other internal experts to develop sophisticated solutions.
- Maintain the highest standards of service, confidentiality and professionalism throughout the client relationship.
Portfolio & Relationship Management
- Maintain regular contact with clients and proactively anticipate changes in their financial or personal situation.
- Monitor client portfolios and identify opportunities for further development.
- Follow financial markets and economic developments to provide relevant and informed advice.
- Coordinate internal expertise to ensure a seamless and high-quality client experience.
- Develop relationships with clients that go beyond individual transactions and support their long-term wealth objectives.
Private Banker | Profile:
- Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Law or another relevant field.
- At least 3 to 5 years of professional experience within Banking, Private Banking, Wealth Management, Corporate Banking, Private Equity or another relevant financial environment.
- Experience working with wealthy private clients, entrepreneurs or business owners is highly valued.
- Strong commercial capabilities and a genuine hunter mentality, with the motivation to develop your own client base.
- An established professional network within the Belgian market is considered a strong advantage.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and comfortable taking ownership of your commercial development.
- Ability to build a business progressively and develop trusted relationships over the long term.
- Strong understanding of financial markets, investment solutions and the needs of entrepreneurial clients.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, discretion and a highly professional approach.
- Fluent in French with a good command of Dutch. English is considered an additional asset.
