PRN Registered Nurse (RN) SANE

Valley View hospital is looking for a Registered Nurse to work as a Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE). A SANE nurse provides compassionate, trauma-informed care to assault survivors. This is a PRN, day/evening/night position that will provide administrative assistance with program growth in a hybrid remote/in-person role. GENERAL OBJECTIVES: Conduct physical assessments, collect forensic evidence, treat injuries, collaborate with legal and advocacy teams. QUALIFICATIONS: Current BLS certification through (AHA) American Heart Association Must have completed Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner training Must have 2 years of Registered Nurse experience and at least 1 year of SANE experience Must take rotating triage call and perform a minimum number of exams SALARY RANGE: $37.50 to $56.23/hour (BSN) + 14% PRN Differential Pay. Entry salary dependent upon education, skill set, and experience.
