Product Architect

Join Nokia’s Autonomous Networks engineering team building a next-generation Core Network Management System that helps telecom operators monitor, diagnose and troubleshoot networks, proactively identify issues, perform automated Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and provide remediation recommendations to reduce MTTR. The cloud-native platform processes massive-scale network data using Kubernetes/OpenShift, microservices, AI/ML, Agentic AI and data analytics. The technology stack includes Linux, Golang, OpenTelemetry, ReactJS, ClickHouse, VictoriaMetrics, Kafka, Coral and Ginkgo/Gomega As a Product Architect, you will define the architectural vision for scalable, resilient and AI-powered telecom solutions. You will collaborate with customers, Product Management and engineering leaders to solve complex distributed-system challenges and drive innovative, future-ready architecture. You will apply expertise across 4G/5G, OAM/FCAPS, Kubernetes/OpenShift, microservices and cloud-native technologies, while shaping intelligent and automated network management capabilities. Define and drive the architectural vision, roadmap, and technology strategy for the cloud-native observability platform supporting 4G/5G Core Networks. Architect scalable, resilient, secure, and highly available solutions leveraging cloud-native technologies, Kubernetes, microservices, and distributed systems. Evaluate emerging technologies, architecture patterns, and platform capabilities, and provide data-driven recommendations to guide technology adoption and investment decisions. Lead architecture reviews and critical design decisions, ensuring alignment with business objectives, product strategy, operational requirements, and long-term platform evolution. Drive innovation in observability, OAM/FCAPS, analytics, and operational automation to improve network visibility, reliability, and operational efficiency. Solve complex system-level challenges across application, platform, and infrastructure layers, including performance, scalability, reliability, and production deployments. Partner with Product Management, Customers, Operations, and Engineering teams to translate business requirements into future-ready solutions and successful customer outcomes. Mentor engineering teams, establish architectural governance and best practices, and drive technical excellence through design reviews, technology leadership, and continuous improvement. You have: Engineering degree or equivalent with 15+ years of experience in telecom, cloud-native platforms and large-scale production environments. Cloud-Native & Distributed Architecture : Deep expertise in Kubernetes (CRDs, Operators, Controllers), OpenShift, microservices, distributed systems and platform engineering. Telecom & Network Management: Strong expertise in OAM/FCAPS, 4G/5G Core Networks, Network Functions, SNMP and 3GPP standards, with experience architecting telecom management and observability platforms. Data & Streaming Architecture : Hands-on expertise in high-scale data ingestion, ETL, event-driven/streaming and analytics architectures using Kafka, ClickHouse, VictoriaMetrics, MariaDB and Data Lakes. Observability & Intelligent Operations : Strong knowledge of OpenTelemetry, OTLP, OpAMP, PromQL/VMQL, metrics, logs, traces, correlation, automated RCA, anomaly detection and operational analytics. Carrier-Grade Engineering & DevSecOps: Experience designing highly available, scalable, resilient, secure and multi-tenant platforms, with expertise in CI/CD, automation, IaC, Kubernetes operations and cloud-native security. Nice to have: Technology Leadership & Innovation: Experience driving technology strategy, architecture governance, platform evolution and AI/Agentic AI adoption, while partnering with customers, product, engineering and executive stakeholders and enabling teams through architectural guidance.
