Product Certification Field Technician

Product Certification Field Technician (Part-Time | Massachusetts) We are seeking an experienced Product Certification Field Technician to conduct surveillance inspections and verify compliance with product certification requirements in manufacturing environments. This part-time role (approximately 20 hours per week) offers a flexible combination of remote work and field-based inspections throughout Massachusetts. Responsibilities Conduct scheduled inspections at manufacturing and production facilities. Review production processes, quality systems, testing procedures, and certification requirements. Document inspection findings and prepare detailed compliance reports. Verify corrective actions and follow up on non-compliance issues. Communicate inspection results and recommendations to clients. Manage your own schedule, travel, and inspection workload. Utilize company-provided technology to complete reporting and documentation. Qualifications 5+ years of experience in quality assurance, quality control, inspection, auditing, or manufacturing. Strong documentation, reporting, and communication skills. Experience reviewing manufacturing processes and quality systems. Ability to read technical drawings and use measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers. Proficiency with Microsoft Teams, Zoom, tablets, and digital documentation tools. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel throughout the assigned territory. Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule. Preferred Qualifications Associate's degree in Electronics, Systems Technology, or related field. Bachelor's degree in Engineering Technology or similar discipline. Experience with product certification programs, UL, ETL, or compliance inspections. Background in manufacturing, construction, or electrical product inspection. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
