Further information is available on www.basf.com/in About the Role Execute collection activity and reconciliation of accounts of third-party customers and/or regions with low or medium complexity in a timely manner; and seek improvements in these processes as necessary What's In It for You Be part of building BASF's new Global Hub in India, a flagship transformation initiative Work with a globally integrated team spanning Finance and HR functions Competitive compensation, benefits, and structured career pathways Access to BASF's world-class learning & development programs Inclusive, diverse, and collaborative work culture Hybrid work model (mix of on-site and remote) Key Responsibilities To contact customers through different communication channels (e.g., emails, calls, WhatsApp); send updated account statements to low and medium complexity customers and responsible sales teams To send necessary information to the Accounts Receivable team to ensure that received payments are applied; and also keep customer information updated in the Collection tool (Get Paid) To communicate with the respective team about discrepancies reported by the customer related to billing Participate in ad hoc meetings with clients and business Comply with processes stipulated in guidelines Assist in the analysis, preparation and documentation of Internal and External Audits. Take part in medium-sized projects with focal point support. Responsible for monitoring KPIs such as Overdue and DSO for the assigned portfolio of low complexity businesses, providing explanations upon request. Minimum Qualifications Graduate in International Relations, Communication, or with experience in customer service Min 3 to 5 years of experience in customer service. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a multicultural, fast-paced global environment High attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy Preferred Qualifications Technical Skills Intermediate Excel skills, intermediate SAP skills, and advanced Get Paid skills [Domain-specific tools as applicable] About BASF: At BASF, we believe that great chemistry starts with great people.
