Job Title: AI Product Designer

Location: Remote (Canada) PST TIME ZONE PREFERRED

Start date: ASAP (strong potential for extension)

Responsibilities

Design and deliver end to end Answer experiences from concept through launch.

Partner with PM, Engineering, and Research to shape product direction and user experience strategy.

Translate customer needs and business goals into clear, compelling product experiences.

Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and polished designs ready for implementation.

Drive experience quality through strong interaction design, systems thinking, and attention to detail.

Influence product decisions through customer advocacy, design expertise, and strategic thinking.

Present design rationale and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership.

Leverage customer insights, research, and product signals to continuously improve experiences.

Champion accessibility, usability, and inclusive design best practices.

Skills

Strong product, interaction, and visual design skills.

Proven ability to design complex consumer products and end to end experiences.

Strong product judgment and ability to navigate ambiguity.

Excellent storytelling, communication, and stakeholder influence skills.

Proficiency with Figma and modern design tools.

Experience partnering closely with Product Management, Engineering, and UX Research.

Strong collaboration skills with the ability to influence without authority.

Familiarity with AI powered products, search experiences, or information discovery experiences preferred.

Experience

Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, Psychology, or related field, or equivalent experience.

5–7+ years designing consumer facing digital products.

Experience driving product strategy and UX outcomes across cross functional teams.

Experience with AI, search, or content rich experiences preferred.

Salary Range: The salary for this position is between CAD $128000 - $133000 annually. Factors that may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
