Overview : We're looking for an experienced and skilled Product Designer to join our Lloyd's List Intelligence product team and define how enterprise customers interact with Seasearcher, our B2B decision workflow and intelligence platform. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in creating customer-focused user experiences and product designs for professional users who need to make fast, confident decisions. You'll work closely with Product Management, Engineering, and Data teams to turn complex data models into intuitive, trustworthy interfaces — from dashboards and search/filter experiences to configuration and administration workflows. You'll use your creativity and technical knowledge to translate user insights into visually appealing user journeys and functional designs that address our customers' needs, working collaboratively across product and technology teams to deliver UX mock-ups, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs. In this role, you'll be the voice of our customers — translating their needs into intuitive designs that have a direct impact on their experience of our platform. Key Responsibilities : • Own the end-to-end customer experience and user journey across the product lifecycle, from conceptualisation through to product launch • Champion user experience throughout the product development process by working closely with business stakeholders • Continually build understanding of customer and market needs across different personas, and the value our products deliver • Own and maintain a common design system and standards, ensuring adherence across the product portfolio • Partner with Product Manager’s to perform user research and translate insights into a range of visual concepts — including user journeys, wireframes, prototypes, and product designs — supporting rapid iteration, usability testing, and customer validation • Work with technology and product teams to ensure deliverables meet design specifications and requirements, while measuring the impact of future enhancements • Lead workshops for internal stakeholders to drive stronger journey mapping, client validation, and rapid evolution of the portfolio What we are looking for : • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Product Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing your UI/UX design expertise preferably across B2B data and analytics platform • Experience working across a complex, multi-faceted product portfolio serving different personas and customer needs • Proven knowledge of best-in-class UI design and UX practice for B2B, data-driven products • Demonstrated experience creating, evolving, and maintaining design systems and interaction design principles — including responsive design — to ensure consistency across multiple platforms • Experience implementing design thinking and user-centred design approaches to map out user journeys and address customer needs • Understanding of Agile development methodologies and how UI design tasks fit within that • Proficiency with key UX tools such as Figma, and strong knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign • Understanding of how AI tooling can improve our design workflow and drive efficiency through rapid prototyping and testing • Ability to create clear and compelling visual representations of complex data and product requirements • Excellent communication and presentation skills • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment either independently or as part of a cross-functional team working towards a common objective • A proactive mindset, with a strong drive to solve problems and deliver innovative solutions.
