In this position: You will join our product development team, reporting directly to the Product Development Team Lead. We are looking for an experienced professional who can take a proactive role in product development and contribute with solid technical expertise. In this role, you will work with product design and development, taking responsibility for product development and maintenance tasks and contributing throughout the full product lifecycle. A structured way of working, problem-solving mindset, and ability to collaborate across functions are essential for success. This is a full-time and permanent position. Your tasks will include: Contributing to product development projects – from planning and requirement setting to concept creation, risk assessment, and prototype testing Designing solutions to meet requirements and analysing the performance of prototypes and supplier components Creating and maintaining product structures, models, and drawings in the PDM system Assembling and preparing product development samples for laboratory testing Validating parts during supplier changes (PPAW process) Providing technical support for other functions and R&D departments Helping to develop product development processes, design practices, and test procedures Supporting your success: Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field Relevant work experience in product development or mechanical design Practical knowledge of mechanical and/or electrical design of electrical connectors and other electrical distribution accessories Experience with CAD/CAE tools (Creo) and PDM systems (IFS & Windchill) Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset What we offer you: Hybrid work with strong on-site presence expected due to the nature of the work.
