Product Engineer

We are looking for a Product Engineer who thrives at the intersection of product thinking and software development. You will be involved end-to-end: from understanding user problems and shaping solutions, through design collaboration, technical decision-making, and hands-on development in production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build features end to end — React front end, Node/Python services, PostgreSQL and Firebase — from spec to production.
• Design APIs and data models that keep working as the product and client count grow.
• Own your code in production: deploys, monitoring, and fixing what breaks.
• Keep the pipelines and test gates the team ships through in good shape.e.

Job Requirements:

• Production experience with React, and Node.js or Python on the back end.
• Solid PostgreSQL data modeling and real Firebase experience — Firestore, Auth, security rules, ideally Data Connect.
• GCP experience (Cloud Run, Cloud SQL), or deep experience in another cloud you can carry over.
• Docker for local development and deployment.
• Experience running CI/CD on a team: test gates, code review, trunk-based or similar branching.
• You use coding agents daily (Claude Code, Cursor, or similar) and can say where they helped and where they didn't.
• Full professional English — you will work directly with US clients.

• Experience working inside a product team.
• Experience in a regulated environment (SOC 2, GDPR) or in fintech/lending.
• Comfortable engaging in discovery conversations and asking clarifying questions
• A user-centric mindset: you care about who you’re building for and why
• Ownership mentality: you feel responsible for outcomes, not just outputs
• Comfortable with ambiguity and iterative problem-solving
• Experience contributing to architectural or platform decisions

What Success Looks Like in 1 Year at Kin Analytics:

After one year, you are a fully embedded member of the product team who contributes across discovery, design, and delivery.
