Job Description
As Product Engineer you will own the journey from first silicon through high-volume production, ensuring it meets targets for yield, quality, cost and reliability. You will translate validation results into robust manufacturing and test strategies that scale across global supply chains. You will continuously analyze large volumes of production data to improve yield and cost. You will play a key role in NPI, production ramp-up and lifecycle management.
Responsibilities and challenges
• Own product bring-up in manufacturing (NPI to high-volume production)
• Define production test plans, coverage and documentation
• Drive test reduction without sacrificing quality
• Analyze yield, parametric data, and failure modes; drive yield improvement plans
• Identify systemic test escapes and quality risks
• Root-cause customer returns (RMA) and field failures
• Support tape-out readiness reviews from a product/yield perspective
• Interface with design, validation, test engineering, manufacturing, and operations
Competences and qualifications
• Background in Electrical Engineering with solid understanding of CMOS devices, RF specifications, process variation, and parameters
• 5+ years of experience with wafer testing, ATE concepts, test limits, coverage metrics, and yield analysis
• Ability to interpret large test datasets and identify yield limiters
• Structured root-cause methodology
• Comfortable with imperfect data and making risk-based decisions
• Thinks in terms of scalable manufacturing, not just lab success
• Clear communicator across design, test, ops, and business teams
• Writes clean product specs, yield reports, and exec summaries
• Drives cost-reduction programs (test time, probe-to-final, package options)
What we offer
• A dynamic and fast-growing scale-up environment where your impact is visible from day one
• Hybrid working with up to 3 days of remote work per week
• A beautiful Art Nouveau office in Antwerp, conveniently located near Berchem train station
• The chance to contribute to truly next-generation satellite communication products used in the real world
• Competitive salary package with attractive benefits
• A smart, kind, international and ambitious team you’ll learn from and enjoy working with
• Gourmet coffee, carefully selected by our local coffee aficionado
• Budget for learning and development (courses, conferences, books)
