The Position
At Toyota Material Handling Europe, we are accelerating our journey towards becoming a data-driven and AI-enabled enterprise. To support this transformation, we are looking for a Lead Product Engineer specializing in Business Intelligence and Requirement Analysis to join our Data & Advanced Analytics organization.
In this role, you will act as the lead for requirement analysis and/or business intelligence within Data & Advanced Analytics. You will combine business understanding, analytical expertise, and technical leadership to ensure that business needs are translated into scalable, governed, and value-generating data and analytics products.
This is a senior specialist role with design authority within its specialization and no direct reports. You will work closely with Product Manager, Enterprise Architect, Data Engineers, Service Managers and business stakeholders to enable better decisions for TMHE through trusted data and analytics solutions.
You will report to Head of Data and Advanced Analytics.
Your Responsibility
Lead the area of specialization
- Own solution design and establish standards, frameworks, and best practices for requirements, KPIs, and analytics delivery.
- Mentor colleagues, review the work of others and promote effective ways of working across teams.
Deliver Business Value
- Translate business challenges into data products, KPI frameworks, and analytics solutions.
- Lead requirement workshops and align stakeholders across business and technology.
- Ensure consistency of metrics, reporting standards, and analytical definitions in enterprise solutions
Provide Technical Leadership
- Lead solution design and requirement reviews for complex initiatives.
- Ensure alignment with architecture, governance, and engineering standards.
- Drive continuous improvement of analytical methods, tools, and practices.
Drive Analytics Solution & User Experience Design
- Establish best practices for user-centric analytics solution design, usability, and information visualization
- Design user journeys, wireframes, and prototypes to translate business needs into intuitive and actionable analytics solutions
- Guide and mentor teams and stakeholders in designing the right solution based on user needs and business outcomes.
Your Profile
We are looking for a senior professional with a strong combination of business analysis, business intelligence, and stakeholder management skills.
You likely have experience in:
- Business Analysis, Requirement Analysis, Business Intelligence, Product Engineering, or similar roles.
- Defining KPIs, metrics, and reporting frameworks.
- Power BI semantic models, datasets, and enterprise reporting solutions.
- Workshop facilitation and stakeholder engagement.
- SQL, data modelling, and modern data platforms.
- Translating business needs into scalable analytical solutions.
- Leading initiatives, mentoring others, and driving best practices.
- Experience with Snowflake, data governance and data cataloguing is considered an advantage.
- Fluent in English (Swedish is a plus)
