We're hiring: Product Engineer - Fullstack

📍 Full Time · Remote

Safra is an AI-first travel platform based in Abu Dhabi. A traveller tells us the trip they want and gets a personalised, bookable itinerary in minutes, then books flights and hotels in the same flow.

You won't be handed tickets. You'll own a domain: work out what the problem is, write the spec, build it, and own what happens after it ships.

🎯 What you'll own

• A domain end to end. Booking, supplier integrations, or search and pricing.
• Turning a vague business need into a written spec before you write code.
• Backend services for search, booking and payments.
• Supplier API integrations. Flights and hotels are live, more products on the roadmap.
• Data models and query performance across Postgres and MongoDB.
• API design for our web and mobile clients.
• Production reliability, and the numbers that follow your work.

✅ What we need

• 4+ years shipping production backends. Node.js, Postgres, MongoDB.
• Third-party REST integrations with real failure modes, retries and idempotency.
• You have shipped features end to end, not just the parts assigned to you.
• You can write a clear spec for something you are going to build.
• You push back on requirements that don't make sense, with reasons.

➕ Nice to have

• React and Next.js.
• TypeScript.
• Travel or booking domain: GDS, NDC, hotel APIs, payment gateways.
• AWS or similar.
