Job Summary Design, develop, test, and maintain Salesforce solutions that support business processes, improve user experience, and enable scalable digital initiatives across the organization. Job Description Key Responsibilities Develop and customize Salesforce applications using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and Salesforce APIs. Configure Salesforce objects, fields, page layouts, workflows, validation rules, and security settings. Design and implement integrations between Salesforce and external systems using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware platforms. Build automation using Flow, Process Builder (where applicable), and Apex triggers. Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to Salesforce development best practices. Develop and execute unit tests to maintain required code coverage. Troubleshoot production issues and provide ongoing application support. Collaborate with business analysts, architects, administrators, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions. Participate in release management, deployment activities, and DevOps processes. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 3+ years Salesforce development experience (adjust based on seniority). Strong knowledge of: Apex Lightning Web Components (LWC) Visualforce SOQL/SOSL Salesforce Flows Salesforce Security Model Experience with Salesforce integrations and APIs. Experience using Git and CI/CD pipelines. Preferred Certifications Salesforce Platform Developer I Salesforce Platform Developer II Salesforce Administrator Salesforce App Builder Salesforce Integration Architect (preferred for senior roles) Technical Skills Apex Classes and Triggers Lightning Web Components (LWC) Salesforce DX REST/SOAP APIs JavaScript, HTML, CSS Git/GitHub/Azure DevOps Agile/Scrum methodologies Data migration tools (Data Loader, ETL tools) Soft Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Effective communication and stakeholder management Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams Attention to detail and commitment to quality Deliverables / KPIs High-quality, maintainable code Successful project and feature delivery System performance and reliability Compliance with security and governance standards User satisfaction and adoption Education Bachelor's Degree: Information Technology Absa Bank Limited is an equal opportunity, affirmative action employer.
