Job Description Hybrid: This position requires you to work on-site 3 times a week (Tue to Thu) Responsibilities Design, develop, implement, and sustain automotive plastic parts and sub-systems (Interior & Exterior), being responsible for product performance, quality, cost, & timing. Execute engineering strategies to Interior or Exterior products, in order to achieve on-time vehicle launches compliant to Safety & Regulation Interact with global teams to strengthen relationships with other foreign markets (multi-cultural work) Required Skills (Qualifications) Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Previous experience in automotive industry (preferred with plastic parts / sub-systems) Proficiency in project management skills Advanced English (written & oral communication) Results-Oriented (ability to stay focused on quality, cost, and efficiency); Effective interpersonal skills that focus and influence others, including those which may have priority differences with yours Availability to travel sporadically Driver license (CNH) active What Can Give You A Competitive Edge (Preference Qualifications) Previous experience with vehicle parts / sub-systems development and launch Knowledge of plastic injection mold tools and understanding of quality tools application and methodologies AI literacy and interaction to support digital transformation and work-efficiency based on new tools; GM does not provide immigration-related sponsorship for this role.
