The Role

Traumasoft is hiring a Product Manager to lead the strategy, discovery, definition, and delivery of a major product area across our EMS platform. This is an end-to-end ownership role. You will partner closely with customers, Engineering, Design, Customer Experience, Sales, and executive leadership to identify meaningful customer problems, define product strategy, validate solutions, and deliver measurable business outcomes.

Our platform is a mature, mission-critical SaaS application built over many years. Success in this role requires balancing customer innovation with the realities of operating and modernizing a large enterprise platform. You will work across new product investments, customer requests, platform modernization, AI capabilities, technical debt, and operational reliability.

As Traumasoft evolves toward an AI-augmented Product Development Lifecycle, Product Managers are expected to use AI throughout their work to improve research, product definition, customer validation, communication, and decision making. AI enhances the role; it does not replace product judgment.

What You Will Do

· Own product vision, roadmap, and business outcomes for a significant product domain.

· Conduct continuous customer discovery through interviews, workflow observation, usage analytics, CAB sessions, user groups, and market research.

· Develop a deep understanding of EMS operational workflows and translate customer problems into valuable product opportunities.

· Define product strategy that balances customer value, commercial impact, platform evolution, and engineering realities.

· Validate ideas early through customer conversations, workflow modeling, prototypes, and AI-assisted concept exploration before significant engineering investment.

· Own product requirements, acceptance criteria, and backlog priorities, using AI to accelerate documentation while maintaining accountability for quality.

· Partner closely with Engineering to scope PRDs, evaluate tradeoffs, and deliver high-quality solutions.

· Balance feature development with platform modernization, reliability improvements, technical debt reduction, and strategic investments.

· Measure customer adoption, business impact, and product success after launch and use those insights to guide future investment decisions.

· Communicate roadmap decisions, priorities, tradeoffs, and progress to executives, customers, and internal stakeholders.

What We Are Looking For

· 5 or more years of SaaS Product Management experience.

· Demonstrated success owning products from discovery through launch and ongoing optimization.

· Strong customer discovery, product strategy, prioritization, and roadmap management skills.

· Experience creating product requirements and acceptance criteria that enable successful engineering execution.

· Strong analytical and business thinking with the ability to balance customer needs, technical constraints, and commercial objectives.

· Excellent communication and executive presentation skills.

· Ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.

· Proficiency using AI tools to improve product management workflows and willingness to continuously evolve as AI capabilities mature.

· Team-first mindset with a bias toward collaboration and measurable outcomes.

Preferred Qualifications

· EMS, healthcare, or other regulated industry experience.

· Experience with HL7, FHIR, interoperability, or healthcare integrations.

· Experience with Jira Product Discovery, Pendo, or similar product management platforms.

· Experience working with large enterprise SaaS products or legacy platforms undergoing modernization.

· Familiarity with APIs, SQL, analytics, or technical workflow design.

· Experience using AI-assisted development or rapid prototyping tools.
