About the role You will join the buyer-facing (B2B and B2C) side of our auction platforms, e.g. troostwijkauctions.com . Our goal is to create a great customer experience across the full buyer journey, from discovering an item to placing a bid, to winning and paying. You'll own product work that spans multiple brands and regions across Europe. What you will do • Own and shape parts of the Storefront product roadmap across Troostwijk, Vavato and Surplex, and decide where to invest based on data and what customers actually need • Think in journeys, not features: follow the buyer from finding an item through bidding, winning and paying, and improve the moments that matter most • Work hand in hand with design and engineering across discovery, definition, delivery and validation — you co-create, you don't hand off • Run discovery to understand the real problem before jumping to solutions, and turn what you learn into a clear, sequenced plan • Partner with data, marketing, CRM and commercial teams to align on direction and keep everyone in the loop on priorities • Balance new improvements against keeping platforms already live across multiple brands and regions stable and fast What you bring You're proactive in thinking ahead and act early, you see what's coming for the customer and start moving before anyone asks you to. You're pragmatic about it, too: you know the difference between what moves the needle now and what can wait, and you're happy to make that call with data and customer input rather than waiting for perfect certainty. You bring energy and a bit of fun to the team, and you do your best work with people, design and engineering are your partners from day one, not a team you hand tasks to. Requirements • A university degree (e.g. psychology, informatics, engineering, design) or equivalent experience • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a product management role, leading agile squads to deliver scalable, product-led platform experiences • A track record of pairing a clear vision with pragmatic execution, you get things shipped, not just planned • A collaborative style: you lead through influence in empowered, cross-functional teams and genuinely believe the best work happens together • Discovery-led instincts: you dig into the real problem and let data and customer insight guide your calls • You use AI tooling to work smarter (e.g. Claude) and are curious about where it can take the team • Strong analytical and communication skills: you can make a sharp case and bring people along • Experience in a fast-paced digital environment like e-commerce or auctioning; B2B or B2C product experience is a plus • A growth mindset: you embrace change, learning and continuous improvement • Proficiency in English; one of our core languages (German / Dutch) is a plus What we offer you • A role with real ownership and variety, in an entrepreneurial company that moves fast • A yearly salary of €85.000 – €90.000 (including holiday allowance) • Bonus scheme (up to 1 gross monthly salary per year) • 25 vacation days • Laptop and iPhone • A learning budget and room to grow • Hybrid working (2 days a week in office) • A fast-growing, international work environment full of fun, learning and collaboration Department Product Locations TBAuctions | Amsterdam Remote status Hybrid Yearly salary €85,000 - €90,000 Employment type Full-time About TBAuctions TBAuctions (TBA) is Europe's leading digital auction platform for B2B used industrial equipment.
