Product Manager
Salary Range - £60,000 - £68,000
As an Inflo Product Manager, you will develop a strong understanding of current and future user needs, acting as a voice of the user while supporting them through new, complex, or evolving product functionality. You will help shape the vision and long‑term direction of your product domain by iteratively defining, scoping, and refining product changes, informed by continuous feedback.
Working closely with software engineering, service delivery, and the wider business, you will ensure the product is well understood, well supported, and aligned to real‑world audit workflows. This role plays a key part in enhancing user experience, improving the quality of audit engagements delivered through Inflo, and maintaining alignment with industry practices.
Responsibilities
As a Product Manager at Inflo, you will:
- Understand the current and future requirements of users, key prospects, and ‘target list’ firms through a combination of outbound and inbound activities, including:
- Reviewing user suggestions, questions and support tickets raised by users.
- Seeking pre-release and post-release feedback.
- Organising user workshops, interviews, usability testing and surveys to obtain data.
- Liaising internally with colleagues across a range of functions.
- Leveraging in-platform data from product usage to gain valuable insights.
- Learn from and incorporate feedback from discovery sessions with target customers .
- Work closely with our lead developers and scrum teams throughout the software development lifecycle, having sound knowledge of agile software development principles.
- Identify, directly or via internal teams, any product challenges our users/prospects are facing and any blockers from getting optimal use of our products.
- Support on complex product matters, including providing 2nd line support on escalated support tickets, and triaging bugs/investigations to product owners.
- Advocate for user requirements and propose product enhancements or changes by working with our UI/UX designers and others.
- Ensure accordance with relevant regional standards, workflows, and industry best practice, working with our in-house specialist audit methodology team.
- Prepare and maintain release notes and product guidance with clear & timely communication to relevant audiences.
- Own, analyse and monitor key defined metrics for usage of products and take timely action to address any identified issues (and even reaching out to thank promoters). Key metrics include:
- Net promoter score for customers.
- Number of support tickets per 1000 engagements.
- Collaborate with the Audit Implementation Services (AIS) team to review and monitor the learning and development approach and materials they develop and use, specifically to ensure accuracy on product functionality and appropriate usage.
- Work directly with the Marketing department to assist with content creation where product knowledge is needed, supporting conversations about product pricing, positioning, and marketing.
- Contribute to whitepapers and webinars about product enhancements and representing Inflo at industry conferences.
- Continuously evaluate and help improve product team workflows to align with best practices and organizational goals.
Required/desired skills & qualifications
Required
- Previous experience in product management/software development processes.
- Experienced in external audit of financial statements, with knowledge of auditing and accounting standards (e.g. GAAP, GAAS, PCAOB and Quality Management/Control standards).
- Strong communicator, with an ability to adapt and collaborate in an innovative team, and able to relay detailed information to a variety of audiences.
- Be a critical thinker, able to apply sound logical reasoning to all your decision making based on available data.
- Confidence to challenge and defend product approaches externally.
- Highly organised, detail oriented, and able to work cross-functionally.
- ACA or equivalent certification, Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field

As a strong voice of the user, you’re a credible partner to engineering, delivery, marketing and audit stakeholders, and someone who brings clarity to complex problems. Product changes are well‑communicated, well‑adopted, and supported by evidence, with clear signs of improved user satisfaction and product usage.
