Our client is a Vancouver-based wealth management firm that invests in the platforms powering its advisory practice. They're building a more modern experience for the way their financial advisors work, and they're looking for a Product Manager to own that experience as it comes together.
This is a mid-level Product Manager, Advisor Experience role suited to someone with 2-4 years of product management experience who's ready to take real ownership. Rather than a single tool, you'll own the overall Advisor Experience: the set of platforms advisors rely on day-to-day, of which Salesforce is a central one. Your job is to understand how those platforms come together to support advisors, and to shape and prioritize improvements across them.
This is a permanent, full-time role. It's fully remote and open to candidates anywhere in Canada; however, only candidates currently residing in Canada will be considered.
Responsibilities
Own the overall Advisor Experience, the platforms advisors rely on day-to-day, and shape how they come together to support the advisory practice.
Bring a strong product perspective to Salesforce as a central part of that experience, guiding improvements from a user and product-owner lens so it better fits how advisors actually work.
Keep the advisor and client experience at the center of product decisions, applying an advisor lens to prioritization and improvements.
Work through product and platform problems thoughtfully, balancing competing needs and finding practical solutions.
Communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, keeping the platform's direction understood and aligned across the business.
Mandatory Requirements
2-4 years of product management experience: you've owned a product or platform and understand what it takes to deliver something that works for the people who depend on it.
Wealth management or financial services experience: you understand how an advisory business runs and can bring that context to platform decisions. This is essential for the role.
Hands-on Salesforce experience as a user: you've worked in Salesforce and understand how it supports advisory workflows well enough to guide improvements from a product perspective.
Strong problem-solving skills: you can work through ambiguity, weigh trade-offs, and land on practical solutions.
A focus on client experience with an advisor lens: you think about how product decisions land for advisors and, ultimately, their clients.
Excellent communication skills: you can explain technical concepts clearly and keep stakeholders aligned.
Nice-to-Have
Hands-on experience with Conquest (financial planning) or similar financial planning tools.
Compensation
CA$125,000+ base annually, with final compensation determined by your qualifications, expertise, experience, and the role's scope.
